I think for all of us finding the joy in the small things is what is keeping us going. Whether that be a nice cup of tea and a piece of cake, a glass of wine and a movie, a hot bath on a cold day, what ever we can do to put a little lift into these our never ending weeks and days. It is hard to change things up and find a motivation `I find, so when Institut Esthederm kindly asked if I wanted to try a few of their products I jumped at the chance. Firstly the excitement of trying something new in the safety of my own home was too good to pass and secondly for the past six weeks I have been having to wear a mask at work all day. Leaving my skin feeling pretty tired, dirty with the sweat, lacking in brightness, and very dehydrated and well, over all rather yucky for a better use of a word. After 7 1/2 hours of teaching and dancing all day, a little boost was exactly what it needed. So perfect timing all round.
E.V.E Serum
So let us begin…. After cleansing my skin I have been using the E.V.E Serum, I do love a Serum. Admittedly it wasn’t until a few years ago I realised that you had to put it on before your moisturiser opps, but we won’t go into that…..I digress. So a couple of pumps of this applied at night, allow it to soak in, try not to rub in, more allow to soak and dap it in on the face and neck and leave it to dry. It is really lovely and light. The serum aims to regenerate and restore the skin, reducing fine lines, which is definitely needed here. It also improves skin texture, which I have most definitely seen an improvement in, leaving my skin a lot smoother and softer, healthier and nourished. The rose gold packaging, like the product is too rather lovely, also adding a little lift to my dressing table.

Lift and Repair Moisturiser
Once the serum has soaked in I have been applying the Lift & Repair Moisturiser, yet again magic in a jar. Firstly the scent is so beautiful, light but so refreshing. It is so smooth on application, not at all greasy, and really hydrating. It makes the skin feel firmer and leaves a smooth complexion. I also feel this lasts all day, I am not currently wearing any make up at work at all which is a little daunting, `I really feel this cream has given my skin that much needed glow, so who needs foundation. It is mostly ideal for women over 35 for a more youthful result.
Contour Lift Patches
To finish off the cycle, the magical Contour Lift patches, which have an instant affect. Lifting and intensely restructuring eye contour area, delicately. I have been using these for a good few months now, they are perfect for those lockdown tired eyes and instantly boost this delicate eye area. They also feel really lovely and indulgent, a little bit of indulgence is more than welcome right now. You just apply a patch under each eye and leave on for about 5 minutes or so, lie back and have some much needed quiet time and let them work their magic….perfectly reducing the appearance of bags, dark circles, signs of tiredness, perhaps even 2020! If a little rejuvenation and protection for your skin is what your skin, like mine, is crying out for right now I couldn’t recommend them more, maybe the perfect little treat for oneself for Christmas or just because…..?
For me a little lift and repair is indeed a vital welcome ritual for my skin right now, and in doing so has even added a lift and and repair my spirits.
