At times like now, when politically the country is a little nervous, the unsure future with dare I say the word BREXIT, and the heartbreaking atrocities happening in Manchester and London and devastatingly every day all over the world, we can forget actually what a rather fine and beautiful country we do live in and for me Brighton is the epitome of this.
A place of colour on a every level, a place of people of all ages, genders, shapes and sizes, adults, children, dogs, cats and a hell of a lot of seagulls. Places to visit and enjoy of vast difference and budgets. A place to venture for the day, a place to relax for the weekend, a place to spend the summer, a place to get married to love of your life, but most importantly a place to just be you and to share it with whoever you choose, wherever you come from and however you like and all with fish and chips on a pebbly beach.
Surely that is the beauty of Britain, we can celebrate, we can be kind, and we can be accepting to all and some of us are lucky enough to just jump in and embrace life, like the cold, English Channel, there is a chill but mostly it’s pretty damn refreshing, just like Brighton On Sea.
Here are some postcard and happiness snaps of three days of blue skies, sunshine, lots of laugher and of course a happy Bride and Groom.
Enjoy!
Thank you for reading x
My home town ❤ what a lovely photo journal – and a very lucky spot with the bride and groom! I love it when you're in the right place a the right time snapping away. It gives me such a nice buzz when I capture an image I love. Glad Brighton makes you as happy as it makes me. It's a beautiful city x
