I think currently we are all searching for the small little distractions to help get through these uncertain times, a good book, Netflix binges, a hot bath, all which I, seem to be doing on repeat.  But really  a little self care and indulgence can go along way in helping us escape it all, lift our spirits and make us feel a little bit hopeful as we indulge in some of the ‘old’ everyday, in this new temporary everyday.  That is why I was more than willing to try out some of Institut Esthederm’s  beautiful products, from their Cellulaire Water range which they very kindly sent me.  It was as good a time as ever and the ‘fresh as a daisy’ feeling was definitely welcomed.

My skin was feeling slightly hallow and dehydrated with the strains of Winter as it was, let alone the stresses of the last few months and was in need of a pick me up, so the Cellular Water products were just the ticket.     Institut Esthederm focus on fighting the signs and symptoms of skin ageing.  Institut Esthederm Cellular water range aims to protect the skin and it’s youthfulness and help rediscover healthy skin…. just like a Daisy, symbolising new beginnings and a little of that purity and youthfulness we covet for our skin.

 Eau Cellulaire, melting moisturising cream, really had me at ‘melt’ .  This is a really fresh, clean, soothing cream which doesn’t leave you with a heavy residue but feels very light and really hydrating on the skin, I almost heard my skin sing out loud when I put it on, or perhaps that was just me.  My skin is combination skin but can feel very dry, so   moisturising cream is essential.  Apply to the face and neck and it really does melt into the skin, it is gorgeous and leaves a silky feeling pretty much thoughout the day.  I have been using this morning and night  and say my skin feels much more hydrated and fresh.

Additionally, I also have been using the Eau Cellulaire moisturising fresh Gel, this really a is a magic potion. It is soothing if your skin is sensitive, it has a light scent to it, which is really clean and fresh.  I find this really leaves my skin super hydrated, quenched and calm, without leaving my face too oily or shiny, just very refreshed and silky.   It is great for the hotter days we have been having and hopefully will have a lot more of, so a great purchase for the Summer months for long lasting hydration.

Just for an extra boost of hydration, the Cellular Water Mist, has been a magic potion keeping the skin hydrated and fresh.  I have been using it when I get out of the shower before me regular skin routine just has an extra boost of hydration but it can be used at any point of the day, especially great for when it is hot and sunny and we have been sitting in the sun.  It can also be spritzed all over the body, not just the face so an instant refresher which is kind to the body and cooling in the warm sun.  The mist helps against UV rays and pollution and all those nasty effects which can speed up the ageing process.  So a really great product seeing as the Summer is on her way and we are allowed outside more than once a day now….hurrah!   It really is all about hydration, and although works like a mist it is as powerful as a serum…winner!  

Of course a few beauty products are not on the highest level of importance currently ….but they can certainly make us feel a little more ourselves, for a few moments at least…..perhaps even as fresh as a Daisy!
