All That Glitters

So really the best part about this time of year is the element of sparkle you can add to your life, without feeling completely over the top, far too girly and a far cry away from your everyday attire. As I said in my last post, I have about three or four various sparkly aka Christmas outfits that I just wear on rotation…. Yes, there are levels of sparkle, if I just want to subtly add a flicker to a pair of jeans, these gold sandals can do the trick, or just clasping my sparkly silver mini clutch (which my lovely friend brought me for my wedding bag) can get me right into the party spirit. But if I’m completely up for ‘Rockin around the Christmas Tree’ then the silver sparkly ‘disco’ mini dress is always a winner and the one which gets pulled out as soon as soon as I hear the harps of Mariah Carey. It is also a pretty good dress to roll in the New Year in (literally!)

So my advice when it comes to the Christmas Party season, go for it, add that pop of sparkle where you can and where possible go the whole way. As when else can you dress like you are having a night at Studio 54 and run/dance with it, no other time of year allows you to fully immerse in ‘All That Glitters’.
