As the nights draw in and we feel the first real chill in the air, Summer can seem like a distant memory.  If you read my last post you will know my feelings on saying goodbye to the Summer. These dark and cosy nights in, just have me scrolling through the latest issue of Conde Nast Magazine, Pinterest and i-escape.com dreaming of and creating non existent trips and conjuring up ideas on how we could sneakily get away one more time before Christmas. How many weeks until March when there is a chance we can adventure again?

Do not get me wrong I am fully aware of how lucky we are to have journeyed to such incredible places over the past 10 months, but yet again I’m wishing time away until the next trip….Wanderlust is an addiction people!   They say to live in the present, to live in the now and to not wish away time, yes I know!  However,  not today and not right now, today I am not living in the future or the present but happily living in the past.  I’m living in days gone by, and reminiscing and re-visiting some of the beautiful places we have been, and rather than planning new adventures, I will live vicariously through our own travel photographs, because after all it is always Summer somewhere and right now it is in my mind…… And after all, all these photographs, thoughts and tales all got us to where we are right now- the present!
