It seems like forever since I’ve written a post, mid September to now has seemed to have flown by and in a bit of a blur. Crazy, albeit wonderfully exciting work schedules mixed with a bout of the flu can make you crave the wonder of normality, and so finally nearly hitting mid October and I feel I have come out the other side, and I can’t think of a more lovely and appropriate and exciting company to talk about, full of warmth, healing and light to bring me back….. cue Lara Quin.
The cyber world introduced me to the lovely Jess, the kindest being behind Lara Quin at the start of the year, see here, and have been a huge a fan of her and her creations ever since. For me what resonates is not just the beautiful curated collection from Lara Quin but also the story behind it, it is one that really will stop you in your tracks, kindest prevails all, and one simple act of this can stay with you forever.
A few months on and Lara Quin is celebrating the new launch with beautiful packaging, wrapped in rose gold and grey, which look just as lovely on the shelf as the candles and diffusers themselves. With scents such as Smoky Quartz and Coco Fig and Rose Quartz and Jasmine Orchard, with my favourite, Moonstone Chamomile and English Lavender. With top notes of and pear and Armoise and undertones of my much favoured vanilla and sandalwood. With the essence of Moonstone, for new beginnings, perhaps new seasons, and new light. This nurturing Gemstone also promotes good fortune and currently its scent, light and calming energy fills the room from my night stand…. at the end of the day there is always peace!
These hand poured soy candles are very special, from the beginning story, through to the care in creation and until they light up the room for whoever you choose, perhaps a Christmas gift for someone or perhaps just be kind to yourself. I have to say despite the fact that everything is simply gorgeous about these candles, especially the power of the Gemstone, what I do LOVE the best, is that they burn right to the very end. Straight down, no waste, nothing left, the symmetry they bring to your home, lasts right to the very end I tell you….before I proceed to fill the jar with fresh cut flowers and the next story begins….
….The ‘now’ second best thing is that Lara Quin is now stocked in John Lewis, so it is even more easy to share a part of that very special act of kindness….for someone….or just for you!
