Sometimes I just get fed up of wearing jeans.  Don’t get me wrong I love jeans,  skinny, boyfriend, straight leg the list is endless but sometimes especially this time of year when the sun starts to shine her face, the grass is green and the smell of summer is in the air, the need to dress accordingly takes over.  Still far too cold to show the legs but in need of a Spring vibe, I felt these striped cropped trousers from Zara, (although not so cropped on a shorty like me) could do the job well.

Teamed with my vintage leather jacket for when the sun disappeared behind the clouds. I was warm comfortable and with a little of the 80’s edge I’m happy with (especially when my mum informed me she wore similar trouser  when I was growing up)

It really was a good pairing of leather and stripes, filled with a day of all things very nice!
